A few starting points for individuals, families, and service coordinators exploring YLCCS.

Talk with us: (858) 215-1030
Are YLCCS services available yet?

Our programs are currently in development. Contact us for an update on the specific service and county you are interested in. Services will begin after applicable approvals and staffing are in place.

What is the difference between ILS and SLS?

Independent Living Services focus on teaching and maintaining practical skills for greater independence. Supported Living Services provide ongoing assistance so an adult can live in a home they own or rent. The right fit depends on the person's goals and support needs.

Who are these programs designed for?

Our planned programs focus on individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Day programs and supported living are intended for adults. Age eligibility and support needs for each program will be confirmed before services begin.

Where will support take place?

The setting depends on the program. Supported living takes place in the person's own home and community. Independent living and personal assistance connect to home and community routines. Day services focus on meaningful daytime participation. Contact us to discuss the developing program you are interested in.

How do regional center services get started?
